Owned by Val and Dan, our focus is to provide a high-quality education and care
environment, driven by close relationships between our children, families and educators.
We also provide a healthy and rewarding work environment for our educators with an
emphasis on improved educator to child ratios, career support through traineeships
and qualification progression and most importantly, recognition for the dedication
and effort that goes into educating and caring for children.
What makes us different?
At Footsteps By Faith, we're committed to providing exceptional care
that goes beyond the ordinary.
Relationships First
Children are supported by familiar educators who know them deeply and genuinely care.
We prioritise emotional security, trust and consistency.
Play-Based Learning
Our programs are rooted in play, because that's how children learn best.
Through play children explore, create, imagine and connect with others.
All-Inclusive Care
Our flat $141 daily fee includes everything: meals, nappies, wipes, sunscreen,
learning resources, excursions and more. No hidden fees.
Strong Community
As a family-owned centre, we're proud to be part of the Picton and Wollondilly
community. Many families return with younger siblings.

Frequently asked questions
A quick guide for families considering Footsteps By Faith.
We welcome children from 6 months through to preschool age. Children are grouped in rooms based on their age, stage of development and individual needs, so they can feel secure, supported and appropriately challenged throughout the day.
Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm, excluding public holidays. We are open 52 weeks per year.
The daily fee is $141 per day.
Our daily fee includes meals, snacks, nappies, sunscreen, learning program. Families are asked to bring spare clothes, bottles, formula and a comfort item (if needed).
Yes. We welcome families to book a tour so you can see the environment, meet our educators and ask any questions you may have. Tours are a helpful way to get a feel for the service and decide whether it is the right fit for your child and family.
Please note that attending a tour does not indicate that a place is currently available. Before an enrolment offer can be made, we require both a completed waitlist form and a tour with your child present.
Families can join our waitlist by completing our waitlist form. Joining the waitlist is an important first step, but it does not secure a place or indicate that one is currently available.
Before an enrolment offer can be made, we require both a completed waitlist form and a tour with your child present. When a position becomes available, we review our waitlist and contact families whose requested days, child’s age and enrolment needs best align with the vacancy to confirm whether they would still like to proceed.
We know that starting care is a big transition for both children and parents. Our team works closely with families to make the settling process as calm and supportive as possible. This may include orientation visits, consistent routines, reassurance, comfort strategies and regular communication with you during the early days of care.
Yes. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack each day, all prepared by our on-site chef. We take great care to offer children a balanced and nourishing diet and our menu is guided by the Munch & Move guidelines.
We do our best to cater for children with diagnosed allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements, and we are happy to discuss most dietary requests during the enrolment process. Any adjustments to a child’s meals must still align with our nutrition guidelines and menu planning requirements.
For this reason, we may not be able to accommodate highly restrictive diets based on personal preference alone, particularly where they fall outside recognised nutritional guidelines. Where there is a medical or diagnosed requirement, we will work with families to ensure appropriate plans are in place.
Each day follows a balanced rhythm that supports children’s wellbeing, development and sense of security through routines for meals, rest and transitions, alongside a rich program of play-based learning, enquiry-based experiences and intentional teaching.
Throughout the day, children have opportunities to engage in indoor and outdoor experiences, group times, creative exploration, quiet moments and educator-guided interactions, while still having the freedom to follow their interests, investigate ideas and learn at their own pace.
If your family is eligible for Child Care Subsidy, the subsidy is generally paid directly to the service and reduces your out-of-pocket fees. The amount you receive depends on your individual circumstances, including your family income and activity levels. We are happy to help you understand the basics and assist with the information you may need before starting.
